Resumo: Noise is an environmental hazard classified as physical and that is present in work environments. The agent has great potential for harm to the health of the worker, reaching the human ear that is a sensitive organ. Unlike the vast majority of other organs, the perception that there are major problems in hearing is only noticeable when it is effectively impaired, so neutralization and preventive care are necessary. In this way, the objective of this study was to verify the food centers of shopping malls as being unhealthy for local workers, especially at the end of the year when the index of visitors increases and, consequently, increases the presence of Noise. The methodology used was the collection of data through a quantitative analysis, using a suitable measuring equipment for the environmental noise agent. Although the results obtained with the research were below the tolerance limit specified by the Ministry of Labor and Employment in Regulatory Standard 15 annex I to the point of being considered unhealthy, the environment presented a higher index than that allowed for restaurants. In this way, it is concluded that there is a great discomfort for the hearing of shopping center workers.
