This monograph has as main objective to analyze and assess the risks of the activity of production and repairs on glass items in the retail trade, specifically in a small family company, located in the municipality of Curitiba, Paraná State. The great use of glass items, as well as no requirement under the law of the need of a SESMT for a small business, raises the need to assess the conditions of security of those working environments, which for lack of knowledge and information, can generate diseases and accidents at work, since the activities and processes performed can be risk. For the assessment of the environment was used the method of Preliminary Risk Analysis, which are identified the main risks and dangers, the probability with which can happen and recommendations pertaining to each one. Such analysis was conducted from site visit, which also was conducted noise measurement of existing machinery and equipment on site. The results showed that some of the machines can reach levels greater than 85 dB (A), not acceptable for a 8 hours` work journey. Also, were analyzed aspects regarding regulatory standards that fit in the work environment, which were used as support for the suggested recommendations. So, from the results obtained, is of fundamental importance to analysis of these environments, in order to bring knowledge and information to small businesses, improving quality and productivity as a result of the activities developed. |
