Resumo: This study aims to identify the risks related to the manufacturing of asphalt mixes hot process, which are used as a coating layer on urban roads and highways, designed to resist the efforts from the traffic, passing them the lower layers, waterproof the pavement and improve the bearing. The pathways of acess of the cities and areas of occupation are continually implemented and the recovery of the same part of the daily life of local, state and federal obligations by relevant organization. Therefore, the activities that are linked to the chievement of the final product need to be monitored because not justify the development and progress of any sector at the expense of the health and safety of people who run them. Therefore, the manufacture of asphalt mixtures, need for flexible paving, should be monitored because there is worker exposure to emissions of gases and vapors from asphalt and other harmful to human health risks. For this study , was taken as a basis the equipment and methods used by a company located in the metropolitan region of Curitiba , state of Paraná and the identification of possible risks , was performed using the technique of managing risks APR ( Preliminar Hazard Analysis) for activities that are part of the manufacturing process of hot mix asphalt . At the end of this work, it was concluded that there are several risks involved ergonomic, physical, chemical and accidental character, and some are considered very serious, especially forhandling the asphalt binder at high temperature, with the need for immediate decisions taken for minimizing or eliminating these risks. For purposes of this study since these activities comprises storing the crushed material to the loading of the final product to its destination.
