The rural work environment has, especially during the 20th century, several changes of organizational and technological nature. These changes have led to increased food production to accompany the continuing global population increase. Through this work, we sought to identify the main risks inherent to work in the rural area and how the diseases caused by them. Through a questionnaire, the workers were interviewed to identify characteristic symptoms of occupational diseases of the rural environment. The most common symptoms identified were related to respiratory symptoms, ergonomic, skin and ear diseases. For better prevention and treatment of diseases, it is up to the employer to educate and guide their employees. |
