This study evaluates the activity of workers of garbage collection at the city South Brazil, in the view of themselves. This work presents a theorical approach involving Risk Management, which their steps and their importance, yet dealt necessaries items for a good management of risks, such as PPRA, Training, CIPA, EPI’s, and others. Focused on verifying which knowledge of the risks and hazards involved in the activity, the consideration of the importance of training and the incidence of workplace accidents. The survey was conducted by interviewing with a random group of collecting garbage workers. Finally, we identified that the chemical and mechanical risks are more clearly known. No coincidence, but the most common accidents are animal bite, punctures and traffic accident. |
