This study aims to identify ergonomically unfavorable postures to occupational health and safety of workers who work at a two-door fridge cabinets pre-assembly, correlating these postures to the complaints of the workers. In order to do this the following methodology was used: informal conversation with 12 workers, divided in 2 shifts, completing a questionnaire in order to uncover aspects related to the employee perception of his activity, completing a diagram of painful areas based on the diagram proposed by Corlett e Manenica (1980), followed by applying the method OWAS (Ovako Working Posture Analysing System) by the WinOWAS software. Compiling all this information to be able to know the main detrimental aspects to the worker, as well as the most critical steps for performing this task, taking in account that there are indications that the labor activity exerted by workers may be causing the reported discomfort, mainly in the lumbar region. From this, it was possible to propose suggestions for actions of low and medium complexity that can solve or reduce some problems and increase comfort of workers in their activities. |
