Arborization is essential to any urban planning and has very important functions such as providing shaded areas, reducing noise pollution, attracting birds, among others, so it is necessary to maintain the tree in the appropriate patterns for the urban environment, through its correct management, such as pruning. The objective of this work is the preliminary risk analysis (PRA) to identify the risks of the pruning work of trees in public roads of Curitiba - PR, and, thus, to suggest improvements in the service. The PRA is a systematic intuitive methodology used to identify possible risks, a document that shows the risks of the activity studied, the causes, the potential effects, the frequency categories, the severity, the risk and the recommendations to reduce or eliminate the risk. In the case of this analysis, risk of a tolerable category was firstly the result of this analysis, since the pruning activity is of high risk, but the worker assuming the duty to use the appropriate personal and collective protection equipment provided by the company outsourced by the city Curitiba and Copel, and putting into practice all the training received by them, these hazards are mitigated, and the risks identified as trivial are those of slight consequence and very low frequency. Teams should be aware of all procedures without distraction, as well as pause at service more frequently, rest their arms upright above their shoulders, always have weekly security dialog at company headquarters and daily security dialogue with the leader of each service front staff. |
