Resumo: The geodetic survey service for rental of rural electrical network poles, provided by outsourced companies to energy concessionaires, involves risks that are neglected, due to lack of planning, work procedures, knowledge or even non-fulfilment with labor safety. Aiming to analyze the involved risks in this service, the photographic registration and visual inspection of the activities stages were made, to help in the development of a Preliminary Risk Analysis (PRA). The results showed as the main risks a 4 degree of risk for non-ionizing radiation and a 3 degree of risk for the exposure to heat and to insects and venomous animals. The most quantified risks in the PRA were the ergonomic and of accident, on the other hand, the physical risk of atmospheric discharge appeared as the most severe but in an extremely remote possibility to happen. Firstly, it has been established that some basic corrective actions can be implemented to mitigate the 3 and 4 degrees of risks. The use of an appropriate uniform to control the exposure to non-ionizing radiation, heat and insects, the use of sunscreen and glasses with UV protection for the non-ionizing radiation control, hydration to attenuate the heat exposure, repellent application and wear leggings to protect of insects and venomous animals. Despite the prevention actions, the enforcement should play an important role in the IPE’s and CPE’s implementation, as well as the ergonomic control of risks associated with labor day of outsourced workers in rural areas.
