Resumo: The Brazilian electricity system demands, in addition to several disciplines united in one purpose, a massive amount of studies, models, operations programming, public policies, etc. Any study that seeks to universalize the understanding of the complex Brazilian electrical system is essential. The present work seeks to study the theoretical formulation and its impacts for the calculation of electricity transportation tariffs (TUST / TUSD). Today a particular source of electricity generation can be classified in many different ways, depending on its power, source, marketing method, connection voltage, among others. In the first chapter, an overview of the electricity sector is presented where demonstrate the need for tariff study and understanding. A theoretical foundation is made in the next chapter where it will provide insights for the understanding and understanding of chapter 3. We concluded at the end that it is interesting to carry out the correct studies regarding connection costs and that they may directly impact, both negatively and positively, on the OPEX of a given renewable generation complex.
