Thinking about the need to provide alternative sources of power generation in order to minimize dependence on hydro generation source and the possibility of residential generation with low environmental impact, develops this research. Aiming to present an economic feasibility study regarding the installation of an electric power microgeneration system derived from wind potential was chosen as location the city of Araucaria, metropolitan region of Curitiba, due to the positioning near the anemometer station, the incidence and the average wind speed in the region. Through in a literature on wind generation and economic engineering tools, analyzes the economic impact and the return time of investment, as well as the cost benefit of a wind power plant in the region studied. Therefore, the wind microgeneration system model installed is called the interconnected, because this system allows the permanence of use of utility power and provides the network the energy produced surplus. |
