Resumo: Currently the search for new sources of energy that causes less impact to the environment has fostered greater interest in generation from photovoltaic source. Electricity consumption in the university environment is high in this sense the search for ways to minimize the cost of electricity generating part of this energy locally and from solar energy becomes an alternative. This paper presents the installation of the proposition of a Photovoltaic System Connected to the Network (SFVCR) in one of the center seat UTFPR blocks in Curitiba, addressing the design stages of a SFVCR from a predetermined area. Thus, it came to a PV generator 55.4 kWp taking care coverage D block of that campus, and analyzed from historical radiation data for this location, energy production estimated for this system, which reached 73.4 MWh / year. This energy supplies approximately 4% of the energy consumed at the university in 2014, considering only the hours off-peak. The case study in question, can contribute to the sustainability concerning energy issues of the university, and, because it is a distributed generation contributes to the postponement of generating infrastructure investment and distribution.
