Resumo: The insertion in the coming years of smaller generators, scattered throughout the country, from intermittent renewable sources, will require a network composed of transmission lines and substations, more flexible and robust. The transmission network will have to deal with frequent changes in direction of energy flows, as well as being able to deal with different types of disturbances that will be provoked within the National Interconnected System (SIN). The National System Operator (ONS) and Other agents of the Brazilian electricity sector will have to propose new alternatives and regulations, in order to minimize impacts that may generate instabilities and not cause technical and financial losses, maintaining the systemic balance between the parties involved. The present work aims to elaborate proposals that aim to find this balance in generation and consumption with a more efficient transmission.
