The growing concern about the preservation of the environment and the search for a more diversified electrical matrix has boosted the generation of electric energy in the world from renewable sources, such as the wind power source. Within the Brazilian territory, the state of Rio Grande do Norte stands out with research and development studies in the area of planning and implementation of alternative sources of energy in its electric generator system. Currently being the largest producer of energy through the winds with its installed capacity of approximately 3.5 GW, the Potiguar state has become one of the main poles of the country in renewable energy generation. This work includes the survey of the characteristics of wind farms (EOL) in the state of Rio Grande do Norte in order to create a database for public consultation aiming at the concentration and availability of information related to them in a standardized way. The choice of the format of a web page to disseminate the data was made due to the widespread use of mobile devices that have access to the Internet, so the information would be available at anytime and anywhere that has access to the Internet. |
