This monograph carried out the design and feasibility study of an isolated photovoltaic hybrid energy generation system with hydraulic microgeneration. The technical and economical evaluations of the installation of a hydraulic micro generator in a residential area supplied only by isolated photovoltaic energy were carried out, to reduce the size of the battery bank. Hydraulic generation was obtained from a water reservoir installed at about eight meters high, supplied by water pumped from a lower reservoir through solar energy. The analysis of the proposed hybrid system concluded its technical feasibility, since it was possible to reduce the battery bank initially by 28.6%, reaching up to 57.1% increasing the height of the reservoir, but the economic analysis recommended its non-implementation. |
