Resumo: This monograph aims to identify a methodology for evaluating the impact of the Reliability Centered Maintenance (MCC) methodology in a quantitative way, comparing performance before and after its implementation in a filler installed in a beverage industry. It was defined to carry out the study in one of the systems that make up the equipment, the sealing system is responsible for the highest number of failures in the equipment, and historical time to failure (TBF) and repair time (TTR) data are collected. Through Weibull ++ softwares, the distributions that best fit the data were identified and modeled: Weibull 3 parameters for time data between failure before and after the MCC and for the repair times: lonormal before MCC and Generalized Gamma after MCC , making possible the reliability and maintenance of the system. With the definition of the distributions, the availability of the sealing system was simulated through a block diagram of reliability using the BlockSim software resulting in an increase in the availability of A(v)=99,06% before MCC to A(v)=99,84% after MCC. It was possible to determine that, by calculating the availability for certain periods, a positive effect of the implemented MCC program is demonstrated.
