In order to proceed this asset reliability study, it was selected a flat carbon steel continuous galvanizing line, composed of repairable systems to proceed analysis of operational and maintenance events. In this work, it was collected in company’s database, time to fail and time to repair information of some complex systems, being applied life data analysis, block diagrams and RAM (Reliability Availability Mantenability) analysis tools. As a result, this work indicates equipment with higher impact on productive processes and proposes application of reliability engineering tools in some equipment aiming increase of asset reliability and availability. This becomes evident that reliability engineering it’s an important management tool for getting better results, through methodologies analysis supporting decision and optimizing company’s financial resources application. |
