Resumo: The high cost of maintenance of Spindles and the purchase of spare parts of high aggregate values, led to this Life Cycle Cost Analysis (LCCA), using this LCCA methodology to study the economic life of assets of the ArcelorMittal Tubarão rolling mill drive spindles and propose strategies for maintenance, replacement, re-designs, discards and spare parts interchangeability, taking into account the budget reserved for maintenance and purchase of spare parts, equipment reliability, availability and maintainability. Adopting the methodology of engineering use with a focus on cost reduction and LCCA, in conjunction with reliability engineering, using life data analysis degradation. The expected results are the analysis of life cycle costs, determining the total cost over its expected life, indicating the time to replace the critical components, simulating scenarios.
