Resumo: Magnetic flowmeters are widely used in the pulp production industry. Most of these equipments are installed in fundamental positions in the process, whose interruption of the operation of these elements, besides generating loss of production (PTP), represents a high cost with materials and services that directly impact the goals traced by the board. There are 2977 primary elements of flow, being 888 magnetic in the a pulp producing company in the municipality of Aracruz, and 115 are considered fundamental to the process, called critics "A". This work develops a Reliability Engineering study for magnetic flow meters applied in the cellulose area, specifically in 3 meters denominated (222FE495) (212FE006 and 212FE606), with the aid of ReliaSoft software, in order to generate the reliability curves and identify the causes of the low MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), proposing actions to eliminate root causes by applying the RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance), taking as reference the analysis of the historical 2014 to 2018.
