This work has as primary objective the estimation of the reliability from an equipment intended for traffic monitoring. The analysis segregates the life data set per customer and also per failure mode. The Weibull statistical distribution function is used to fit the failure data set and to plot the reliability over time, failure rate over time, probability of failure over time and contour plot. The customers are compared, as well as the fitted Weibull distribution parameters. A brief summary of life data analysis theory is also presented. This study demonstrate, based on the reliability theory, the distinct usage condition of the equipment regarding the different customers’ scenarios. |
