This monograph shows how Reliability Engineering tools can contribute directly to
the maintenance of lobe pumps, optimizing spare parts management and thus
obtaining better results in the use of equipment in terms of availability. The research
is applied and uses the bibliographic and documentary method, based on the
analysis of data collected by the author at his place of work at the company Enaex
Britanite. Regarding the results, it is intended to verify the feasibility of possible
improvements, guaranteeing the reliability of the equipment that will entail the
sensible reduction of maintenance cost and increase of production, making the
company become more competitive in the market. With this work it is possible to
verify the availability of 90% to 98% guaranteeing the quantity of pieces for minimum
stock. |
