The constant evolution of industries combined with the need for increased productivity, forces a nation that wants to develop to have a well-established infrastructure. The railroad is one of the most effective and profitable means for the good development of the world economy and trade, especially in countries of continental dimensions such as Brazil. As a result, rail vehicles are becoming more robust to withstand all the demand in the industry. This work conducts a study of railway wagon brake valves (AB), demonstrating the wear of one of its main components in order to find the correct warranty time. The purpose of the work is to use Weibull ++ software to find the valve warranty time so that companies in the industry can gain reliability by avoiding unwanted breakdowns, rail accidents and productivity by shortening the cycle of times the wagon enters a vehicle. maintenance post. Using the Weibull ++ software degradation module is a means of performing life tests in cases where failure is associated with some measure of product degradation. At the end of the research it was verified through the statistical analysis that the bushing presented a larger than expected wear thus reducing the warranty time of the valve. |
