Globalization makes competition in the market more and more, so it is up to companies to seek constant evolution of their production processes, making them capable of competing and offering better prices, deadlines and maximum quality and safety in their products. For this to be possible, it is fundamental that companies seek continuous improvement processes based on lean production and waste reduction. Thus, this work has as main objective to elaborate a proposal of improvement starting from a change in the mechanical design of the closing flange on the sides of the tanks of power transformers, more specifically: to investigate theoretical subsidies the sow of the subject under study, that is, improvement Continuous, kaizen, seven wastes and brainstorming; To describe the current process of the manufacturing of the closing flange and to present a proposal to improve the closure flange by comparing the quality and costs of the weld. For this purpose, the bibliographical research, observation and brainstorming with collaborators of the boiler department of a company of the electromechanical branch under study were used as a procedure to answer the problem situation investigated and propose a new manufacturing process. From the results presented, it was concluded that with the improvement proposal, that there is a considerable reduction of manufacturing time, product cost and better quality of the process. In view of this, it is possible to affirm that the proposal is feasible, both economically and logistically, since the process will be maintained, changing only the height of the positioning of the closing flange on the sides of the tank. |
