In a globalized and highly competitive market, organizations are seeking to gain advantages through their internal processes. The management of materials in inventories plays a fundamental role, since they are immobilized capital. They need to be inspected, stored properly and after that, be available in the right amount for production. The present work aims to systematize the addressing and the storage control, improving the accuracy of the inventories and the reduction of the correct answers. The challenge is to ensure inventory accuracy by providing adequate customer service levels and at the same time they are financially viable for companies. With the help of the theoretical basis, this work places the importance of having systematized inventory management tools, significantly improving the storage system, eliminating material errors and losses. In the first phase with the implementation of the SAP-based addressing, and in the second moment the implementation of the bar code system and radio frequency control will have more confidence in the quantities available in stock. With the implementation of this work in Weg in the department of manufacture I in the assembly section, it is believed that the warehouse of purchases will be more organized. Each component will have its own location, making it easier to locate and store. As real gain it is estimated a reduction of stock corrections around the 75% of the current hits, with that will reduce significantly the costs of production. |
