Different approaches and possibilities of exploring interpretation and reflection have been shown starting from images, where the plot is played by the reader. The objective was to make feasible the pedagogical work based on the literature of absent verbal language, in order to stimulate the different readings, as well as reflections on a pertinent and current theme. The methodology applied was action research, where activities applied in different classes were appreciated. The result of this action research points to a heterogeneity of successful answers, since the exploration of this type of material - visual - motivates and ensures greater participation of the students. Esta monografia apresenta a literatura visual, imagética como uma proposta de trabalho com a leitura e a escrita de maneira interativa e eficiente. Mostrou-se diferentes abordagens e possibilidades de explorar a interpretação e reflexão partindo simplesmente de imagens, onde o enredo é protagonizado pelo leitor. O objetivo foi viabilizar o trabalho pedagógico pautado nas literaturas de linguagem verbal ausente, a fim de estimular as diferentes leituras, bem como reflexões sobre um tema pertinente e da atualidade. A metodologia aplicada foi a pesquisa-ação, onde atividades aplicadas em diferentes turmas foram apreciadas.
