Resumo: The research presents a theoretical-conceptual approach on the issues that involve the influence that classical fairy tales exert on society. From the discussion of concepts and analyzes, one seeks the understanding of the influence of the creation of pre-established behaviors by fairy tales, which are transmitted over time. The focus of this analysis of influence will be the female figure and its social formation through the language used in these infantile and timeless narratives, taking into account for this, the historical, cultural and social aspects that permeate the origin of fairy tales and their comprehensiveness in the most different communities, in the most different historical periods. As an object of analysis, the research also analyzes the influence and social coverage of TV series. The series "Once upon a time" then serves as artifice in the research to consider the relationship between the discourse and the way the female figure is represented in this production.
