Resumo: The objective of this study was to present the existence of moral harassment in organizations and companies in the area of construction, explaining its concepts and definitions. The various situations that the victim is assaulted, the psychological consequences after the aggression and how organizations react against to the problem, and what are the forms applied to solve and/or minimizes them. It was made a field research with professionals in construction management to assess how much the moral harassment is recurrent in the labor market of construction. Problems that occur daily in construction companies and businesses in this field and that several times are unknown by the own professionals. Therefore, it was concluded that in construction moral harassment occurs and often nothing is made to prevent this, or as prevention method, and thus can cause work accidents, damage to the psychological health of individuals and even possible suicides generated by abuse of power and mistreatment of individuals of the same category.
