Resumo: The composition of a budget for a work can vary from company to company even though it has the same variable data to compose the BDI rate, and this rate follows a methodology that normally companies do not open in the presentation to the client or competitors, having as the Budget a strategic cost-engineering tool. For this monograph, a comparison of the Tisaka, Mendes and Bastos methods and the BDI composition PSE method. For this, a budget was made following the basic concepts of composition of the Engineer Tisaka and applied the three formulas generating the final price value. The results of the comparison vary 7% of the selling price for the same work with the same variables and having different BDI rate values, with the PSE method with the highest selling price followed by the Tisaka and Mendes methods and Bastos with the lowest final price value, but with the best presentation to the customer the BDI rate and spreadsheet completes the Tisaka engineer's method. It is necessary to raise, compose and plan all the possible items to win bids and with consequence the correct execution of the work for the obtaining of profit that is the purpose of the constructor.
