The BIM technology – Building Information Modeling has the purpose to optimize the data management during the constructions’ life cycle. The BIM implementation demands big changes at operational process and the planning of it is very benefic; generating better productivity and quality results for the companies. The purpose of this study is identify how the BIM technology implementation happens in Architecture Offices, analyzing real implementation cases in Curitiba, at Paraná State. The study contemplate aspects related to technology utilization, time, costs, implementation methodology, implementation targets, personnel enrolled, workflow changes, integration and information sharing, benefits and challenges faced with BIM technology use. After that, a crosscheck analysis was made with the data collected as well as with the theoretical basis, also, with the best practices during the technology implementation process at Architecture Offices. |
