The comparative analysis of the structure refers to the gains and losses of the systems in relation to time and costs, presenting its particularities, verified during the execution monitoring, besides, it exposes relationships and simulates the works in different structural systems to verify the choice of the system. system. The result showed a faster execution, in days worked, in the execution of the mixed metal structure per square meter of construction in relation to the reinforced concrete structure. As for the cost for execution in reinforced concrete it was more viable, that is, the square meter of construction with a lower value. It can also be said that the metallic structure brought positive points in relation to the rationalization of processes, reduction of workforce and waste. Finally, this work contributes to the understanding and decision of choice for structural systems in commercial buildings. Este estudo visa analisar um comparativo entre duas obras comerciais executadas com sistemas construtivos diferentes para a concepção de sua estrutura, sendo a primeira obra executada em estrutura de concreto armado e a segunda obra executada em estrutura metálica com lajes em steel deck. O comparativo analisado da estrutura é referente a ganhos e perdas dos sistemas em relação a prazos e custos, apresentando ainda suas particularidades, verificadas durante o acompanhamento da execução, além disto, expõe relações e simula as obras em sistemas estruturais diferentes para verificar a escolha do sistema. O resultado encontrado apresentou uma execução mais rápida, em dias trabalhados, na execução da estrutura metálica mista por metro quadrado de construção em relação a estrutura de concreto armado. Quanto ao custo para execução em concreto armado apresentou-se mais viável, ou seja, o metro quadrado de construção com um valor mais baixo. Também pode-se afirmar que a estrutura metálica trouxe pontos positivos em relação a racionalização de processos, redução de efetivo no canteiro de obra e desperdício.
