At industrial level the Motor Control Center or MCC boards usually have a large number of induction motors, which can vary between small to large power, these being both motor-fans and motor-pumps. Depending on the size of the company, the number of these types of boards can have a significant impact from the point of view of maintenance, more so if they are considered MCC with many years in operation, with obsolete components and at the end of their life useful. Through the analysis of electrical maintenance engineering, a case of retrofit event will be shown in MCC with the application of predictive maintenance, in order to extend the useful life of its components, in such a way as to guarantee the reliability of a system. |
