The present paper presents a procedure proposal for preventive and corrective maintenance of the motor pumps of the main transformers of the Itaipú Binacional because the current procedure used in case of replacement of one of the motor pumps or the total of them would take more time of machines Stops and an increase in the number of hours / men. In order to achieve the central objective, the following specific objectives were established: analyzing the vibration, implementing a monitoring system, designing a device for replacing the pumps, establishing a method of storing the reserve pumps in warehouses and developing a system of Stock of spare parts. The research was framed within the case study and documentary bibliographic modality. For the development of the same, theoretical information has been collected as well as the manuals and regulations issued by the Maintenance Engineering of the Itaipú Binacional have been used. The proposal will improve the current preventive and corrective program in order to preserve the life of equipment and reduce the costs of corrective and preventive maintenance. |
