The methodology used was of an exploratory level to enrich the knowledge in preliminary form, were consulted primary sources through interviews to specialists in the area of Electro-Electronic Automation, followed the research in a descriptive level to establish the characteristics of the matrix of Knowledge of each system and thematic axis of each specialty and that way to elaborate the curricular grids for each specialty addressing three levels: basic, intermediate and advanced, reaching a total of 5 grids of specialties plus specific courses intermediate and advanced for the integrators of Systems. As a result of this monograph, a proposal is presented for the implementation of the training plan with the objective of contributing to the improvement of the quality of services, considering that automation is the most affected by the advances of technology in recent times. Este proyecto tuvo como fin diseñar un plan de capacitación para el área de automatización Electro-electrónica de los Departamentos de Ingeniería de Mantenimiento y de Ejecución de Mantenimiento de la Itaipú Binacional con el propósito de fortalecer la gestión de los funcionarios en el mantenimiento de la infraestructura de los sistemas de automatización industrial de la Dirección Técnica de la Itaipú Binacional y con ello asegurar la calidad del funcionamiento de los equipos que operan dentro de esa área. La metodología utilizada fue de un nivel exploratorio para enriquecer los conocimientos en forma preliminar, fueron consultadas fuentes primarias a través de entrevistas a especialistas en el área de Automatización Electro-Electrónica, siguió la investigación en un nivel descriptivo para establecer las características de la matriz de conocimiento de cada sistema y eje temático de cada especialidad y de esa forma elaborar las grillas curriculares para cada especialidad abordando tres niveles: básico, intermedio y avanzado, llegando a un total de 5 grillas de especialidades más cursos específicos intermedio y avanzado para los integradores de sistemas.
