The knowledge applied in the maintenance sites nowadays, are widely disseminated among a
range of mechanisms available, which requires a rich resource of research and consultation, to
achieve the best practices, A wide process is required to get the maintenance improvement such
as the methodology that focus in the mobile equipment, towards parks and machines Yellow
Line machines and White Line Trucks. Thus, it proposes a Critical Evaluation tool, to assist the
analysis of the present state of a Maintenance Operation. Focusing on the Administrative and
Operational areas. Its preparation will be based on the already renowned methodologies of
Quality Management. The present methodology can also be used for a performance and present
state analysis to make comparisons between branches, classifying each of the Operations
evaluated in stars (points) thus suggesting its fancy name of Star Rating. Its main gains; Create
comparisons between Maintenance of the same group; Identify vulnerabilities and require
improvement; Conference of processes; Audit; Integrate team to search for improvements
through action plans, among other purposes. In this way, it completes forms of advantages for
an applied management and of improvements in processes, besides opening suggestions of
offers for implantation of new concepts like RCM and TPM. |
