The effect of convergence or of such technological evolution shows a complex picture where users want mobility and the integration of services, operators are seeking ways to provide this demand while creating solutions to compete with the entry of new competitors the OTT' s. And in this scenario that the technology based on IP (Internet Protocol) has been attracting studies and standards by international bodies to regulate a standard that is used and can integrate with other networks without losing efficiency, safety and quality of existing networks. The Rich Communications Suite (RCS) has the function to provide services to users of the operators so that they have all the features of OTT's in a single application available on any device, the purpose of this paper is to present what is RCS and what he can contribute to the carriers, adding value to services assisting in competition with OTT's. |
