Resumo: This paper discusses the interaction between Information Technology and Communication and Knowledge Management, and strategic management tools and organizational performance, which through the transfer and sharing of information and the processes of communication used for knowledge to be disseminated, assimilated and used in the organization, generating competitive advantage. Through Knowledge Management can encourage people in organizations, and with that people generate information in order to take advantage of them. Though apparently Knowledge Management to be common in organizations, incorporation and transformation is not very clear for organizations. Knowledge management exercises a key factor in achieving organizational performance, however, there are few studies proving how Information and Communication Technology can help to make this factor is achieved. There is an interpretation that now uses tools of Information and Communication Technology with a competitive factor, imagining that they are using the same for Knowledge Management.
