Resumo: Curitiba was chosen as one of the host cities for the FIFA World Cup 2014 and began the process to reform a stadium to become a Multipurpose Arena. One of the key points in this process is the creation and execution of a Project of Converged Network – NGN - to support both data and any other multimedia data, composing the local network with the Telecom Operators using convergence techniques in IP networks. This case study is based on since the creation of technology projects following FIFA guidelines and other partners to start a implementation Converged Network project. It is expected that this serve as a knowledge base for creation of similar projects and show the main technical points to be considered as well as demonstrating the most critical factors for a successful implementation.
