Such changes in the recorded music industry production and value chain caused a drop in its revenues, mainly due to piracy. Now the scenario begins to change with the arrival of music services via streaming. Users are starting to pay againto listen to the recorded music through these services connected to smartphones and mobile networks. In this paper the Spotify, Deezer and YouTube streaming services are studied and compared. Also the current results and future trends for the recorded music industry are presented.
