This paper describes the strategies to develop an implementing plan and basic functions of a Router core, popularly denominate as RouterOS. These approaches are intended to guide the stakeholders on strategies and potential of equipment compatible with the most widespread protocols in information and communication technology environment. This solution is robust, efficient, has quality and safety, highlighting for presenting a graphical management interface and easy technical interpretation when compared to other equipment and competitors on the market. This is intended to minimize the high investments and financial impacts to purchase equipment and software from other manufacturers that basically perform the same functions and have the same purpose. Also aims to facilitate and propagate the use of this technology to small and medium-sized companies that need to optimize their infrastructure with greater control, security and centralization on the computer network. It is estimated too that organizations will reach a better index regarding best practices, indicators and quality controls about Information and Communication Technology - ICT. Besides that, companies that choose to use this strategy and stop using "home" routers will get greater gains in network performance. This way it can ensure a staggering efficiently with higher gain, security, market competitiveness and productivity in the use of computing resources. These benefits contribute to the technological advance and directly optimize the strategy of companies and their respective infrastructure. They can also contribute to good market practices and ICT resource management. According to need this strategy can directly increase the competitiveness and permanence of companies in the market, compared to environments that do not use the same solutions and best practices to anchor the management of ICT services. Esta é uma pesquisa bibliográfica sobre estratégias competitivas com a implementação de um cloud router core em ambientes institucionais. Este trabalho descreve as estratégias para elaboração de um plano para implementação e funções básicas de um Router core o qual utiliza popularmente uma denominação de RouterOS. Estas abordagens têm como objetivo orientar aos interessados sobre as estratégias e potencial de um equipamento compatível com os protocolos mais disseminados nos ambiente de tecnologia da informação e comunicação. Esta solução apresenta-se de forma, robusta, eficiente, com qualidade e segurança, destacando se por apresentar uma interface de gerenciamento gráfica e de fácil to interpretação técnica quando comparado aos demais equipamentos e concorrentes disponíveis no mercado. Com isso pretende-se minimizar os altos investimos e impactos financeiros com aquisição de equipamentos e software de outros fabricantes que desempenham basicamente as mesmas funções e possuem a mesma finalidade. Também pretende-se viabilizar e propagar a utilização desta tecnologia para empresas de pequeno e médio porte que necessitam otimizar sua infraestrutura com maior controle, segurança e centralização sobre a rede de computadores. Além disso, as empresas que optarem em utilizar esta estratégia e deixarem de utilizar roteadores “domésticos” passarão a obter maiores ganhos na performance da rede. Desta forma é possível assegurar um escalonamento de forma eficiente com maior ganho, segurança, competitividade do mercado e produtividade na utilização dos recursos computacionais.Também podem contribuir com as boas praticas de mercado e gestão dos recursos de TIC.
