The present research discusses the relationship of Information Technology (IT) by the Knowledge Management (KM), aiming to propose indicators to demonstrate how organizations have applied IT in the KM. Knowledge and information are critical at all stages of an innovation process, thus it is necessary that the information area ensures innovative tools that help to provide the generation of knowledge to organizational employees. Only then it is possible to measure and ensure procedural improvements of organizational knowledge. The theoretical foundation of this work is based on the concepts of management and knowledge and how technology can help the progress of these concepts. To measure and validate how organizations have handled this issue was conducted a qualitative analysis within the organizational environment. From the collected data it was possible to get a view of the scenery exercised by employees of the information area, as well as their involvement with the concept come a tool that manage knowledge. Thus it is suggested to apply this analysis in similar cases whose main focus to provide knowledge management with technological tools provided by the information area. |
