Resumo: This research aims to identify which motivational factors apply more accurately to IT professionals in Curitiba and the Region. For this, a broad theoretical background was built of the main authors of the all-time segment. The methodology used was a questionnaire based precisely on this theoretical foundation raised, made available online and applied with professionals of the stipulated profile. We collected 52 responses from IT professionals and based on these data, some very interesting conclusions were made. It was observed that some factors that for professionals of other areas are motivational and for IT ends up not being, and the opposite also could be detected.
