The objective of this work is the contribution in the understanding of people management processes in sound production as creative industry environments. Using the qualitative interview as method in three studios of sound production, it was verified that systematized processes of people management in the companies of this sector are rare in the present.This was seen as a consequence of the perception took by owners of these businesses regarding the necessity and the possible results in the use of these techniques. In addition to these points, we seek to analyze the motivation of the workers of these studios regarding the relationship with the company, managerial aspects, the relation between artist and work and also with the profession. As the industry is mainly made up of small companies still under development and there is almost no systematization of processes, the importance of the motivation of these professionals is vital. It is also considered that creativity is not only the fuel in the production process of this sector but it is also a fundamental raw material element that adds value to the product itself. This work also seeks to verify the relationship of commercial practice in counterpart to artistic practice, once it limits the creativity witch is the resource for the motivation to artists. |
