Resumo: Startups are newly created companies that operate in a market of uncertainty and high risk, operating in their initial trajectory usually with low revenue and limited number of employees. This study presents the scenario of startups in Brazil, the types of compensation in Brazil and the challenges related to compensation in the scenario of a startup in Brazil. Related to entrepreneurship. From the data analysis it was possible to notice the difficulties faced by startups, facing a premature sales scenario, where billing does not allow hiring professionals with the necessary expertise to drive the business, placing the recruitment and maintenance process as a team. Remuneration. Putting with options to be considered which are based on variable remuneration, such as remuneration by result, profit distribution, bonus or even, when there is a truly aggregating professional in the company’s success, consider the stock distribution option, making this professional a partner with a more participatory look at generating results.
