Resumo: This research is the theoretical basis for the development of a generic methodology to implement a strategic map in companies, together with its development. Primarily, it had sought to understand the business strategy concepts, including its emergence, in order to perceive the universe where this research belongs. Following that, the balanced scorecard and strategic map concepts were presented, as well as the matter of them. Hereupon, a proposal of a structure for the tool’s conception was created, followed by a case study of its application.
