GEOGROUP / ENGETECNICA ENGENHARIA E CONSTRUÇÃO In order to mitigate the problems of management, organization, efficiency and quality that usually occurred in its transmission substation projects, it redesigned its concepts of project design. The solution found by the company to mitigate these problems was the substitution of the traditional process of realization of 2D projects for the use of the BIM (Building Information Modeling) methodology. This article describes the implementation of this project design methodology, the paradigm break, the implementation challenges and the advantages and disadvantages of using the BIM methodology in this project. |
