A small business in this industry works with countless products that have great complexity. At the same time, the company does not have cost management done properly and cannot know how the profitability per product is. Therefore, the general objective of the research is to analyze the costs of the company to achieve the real profit of the products. For this, it is necessary a literature review in the areas of accounting, for later analysis of costing methods and sale price formation. Besides that, the concept of contribution margin and break-even point needs to be studied. Finally, the paper presents the results that were obtained with the research, analyzing each of them. As indústrias moveleiras atuam em um mercado com alta concorrência e precisam melhorar continuamente sua qualidade, mas sem elevar demais os custos. Uma empresa de pequeno porte desse setor trabalha com uma infinidade de produtos que possuem variada complexidade. Ao mesmo tempo, a empresa não possui uma gestão de custos feita de maneira adequada e não consegue saber como está a lucratividade por produto. Sendo assim, o objetivo geral da pesquisa é analisar os custos da empresa para chegar ao lucro real da venda de seus produtos. Para isso, se faz necessário uma revisão de literatura nas áreas de contabilidade de custos, para posterior análise dos métodos de custeio e formação do preço de venda. Além disso, o conceito de margem de contribuição e ponto de equilíbrio precisa ser estudado.
