At the opportunity to invest in energy concessions, a feasibility study focusing on the photovoltaic mode is presented. Evaluating the global and the Brazil’s potential for exploration of this kind of energy, the history of the energy mix and the changes among the modalities that make up this combination are presented, as the participation of renewable energies increases. With this background and strategic studies from government agencies, projections are presented for the future of renewable energy, especially for photovoltaic energy. Secondly, investment analysis methods are presented and a case study of a 3 MWp photovoltaic plant over a 25-year concession period is reviewed, considering a new economic context in Brazil. |
