The efforts to improve the quality of buildings in the construction sector, considering the increasing customer demands level, the increased competition and the lack of quality standards, promoted the use of indicators as a way to measure and evaluate the quality products, processes and customers, as they provide information that helps in the planning and control of processes. The establishment comprises of analyzing the quality management processes in a company in the metropolitan region of Curitiba, answering the question: The use of indicators can contribute to the improvement of quality? It is justified to study why in construction has increased the importance of performance measurement systems, but many of these companies feel the lack of sufficient knowledge to explain the tasks and the results we wish to obtain. Aims to analyze the benefits of using indicators on a company in the construction sector in the metropolitan region of Curitiba. The methodology was based on the literature available and rationale for the case study, highlighting the main problemsassociated with the use of indicators, development trends and best use of these indicators. With the case study presentation was concluded that the company stilldoes not see quality management as a tool for continuous improvement of all processes, customer satisfaction, chances of getting the PBQP-H certification, aswell as competitive gains and financial. |
