It is aimed in this work to verify in which aspects the Uncommon manifestation in the book of Stardust, from Neil Gaiman, relates to its cinematographic version. From the notions proposed by Todorov and Ceserani about Fantastic literature, we identify which characteristics of literary narrative might be included in the Uncommon and we observe parts of the book which use such procedures. The fantastic in cinema presents the same basic characteristics that literature and the Uncommon means can also be seen in cinematographic narrative —language presented based mainly on Deleuze, Xavier and Gauldreault and Jost. Comparing excerpts from the book and its adaptation to cinema, we notice a preference of the cinematographic language to the visual means of Uncommon, to the detriment of psychological procedures, more noticeable in the book. O Insólito é uma categoria de gêneros literários que abrange as narrativas Fantástica, Maravilhosa e Estranha. Pretende-se neste trabalho verificar em quais aspectos a manifestação do Insólito da narrativa literária de Stardust, de Neil Gaiman, se relaciona com sua versão cinematográfica. Partindo dos conceitos propostos por Todorov e sobre o Fantástico, identificam-se quais as características de uma narrativa literária podem se enquadrar no Insólito e observam-se trechos do livro que utilizem tais procedimentos narrativos. O Fantástico no cinema apresenta as mesmas características básicas que na literatura e os recursos Insólitos podem ser também observados na narrativa cinematográfica, cuja linguagem é apresentada baseando-se principalmente em Deleuze, Xavier e Gauldreault e Jost.
