Resumo: The area of Civil Construction Pathologies has been presenting studies of many researchers in recent years. Along with this, it can be said that there has been an increase in demand for professionals who actually understand about this area, due to the large number of buildings with advanced ages, real estate use adjustments and unfortunately to constructive errors related to various parts of a work. One of the issues that has attracted the most attention is reinforcements in structures, where there is a considerable range of options. One of the most executed reinforcement techniques is the addition of structural elements or increase of the existing section elements in concrete, being one of the techniques with more competitive values. This research aims at investigating the effect caused by the shear angle formed between the joints of two concretes of different ages. Considering that this joint occurs not only in reinforcements, but also in works that for some reason suffered paralysis and returned to work later of some time forming dry joints and in the manufacture of precast, where in some cases we have later concretions in beams and pillars due to difficulties in concreting the whole piece so that it meets the project. As a result demonstrated in this study, it became possible to perceive the variations in the tensile strength and compression of the specimens submitted to the tests in relation to a reference concrete.
