Increasingly vehicles are coming with embedded systems and new technologies, causing them to have an increase in electronic controllers called the Electronic Control Unit (ECU), further expanding the need for devices for electronic testing and the availability of these operating devices in the production line. The electronic test equipment undergoes natural wear due to its daily use in an industrial environment and with high cycles of use. This work presents an analysis for application of a new solution in a subcomponent of this equipment that undergoes degradation generating communication failure and losses to the production. The main production losses in the process in which this equipment is used, the functional decomposition of the system, communication interfaces between the Mobile Diagnostic Adapter (MDA), vehicle and electronic control cabinet were analyzed. From the results obtained, we can conclude that the application of the subassembly of the equipment in the process, using the same transport per capsule was not compatible, generating degradation in the cable of the equipment and thus failure of communication during the electronic tests. The importance of this equipment in the process and the need for high availability for production made the study carried out and the results obtained for the company extremely important, given the competitive scenario in this industry's performance. |
